For universities and research institutions, the VTPM CoC provides the means for material research, development of new materials and research into innovative uses for these materials in industry.
We are establishing a cross-industry manufacturing CoC that aims to:
- Enhance the region and country's technological sovereignty.
- Create new materials and technologies.
- Undertake scientific research in the field of materials science.
- Foster collaboration of educational, scientific and production teams.
- Provide training, retraining and professional development of industrial 3D printing specialists.
- Test and implement lean manufacturing methods and improve production processes.
- Improve the capabilities and quality of manufacturing facilities.
- Create a platform for MBA students to develop working economic systems with use of this technology which will improve the economy of regions where such technology is used.
All of these functions are of potential interest to universities and other educational establishments, corporate R&D departments and independent research and testing facilities.
VTPM CoC is open to forming collaborations with all these various institutions and units, providing training and instruction, sharing knowledge and expertise. We will offer training programs, seminars and workshops to support and enhance the academics and entire teams.
